How to Join AAB

Before entering into show business, it is very important that you understand the following:

WHAT DOES IT TAKE
In the extremely competitive world of the entertainment industry where rejection is a daily routine, only the serious and determined individual could consider a career in show business.
If you are determined and serious about entering the entertainment industry, you must have or willing to:
•	have 100% commitment to this business by being available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
•	equip yourself with proper tools of the trade; Headshots, Resume, Portfolio, Training...
•	be a professional; be on time and totally prepare yourself for each and every appointment.
•	be relentless and keep going to auditions and try-outs even after many rejections.
•	learn from your experience, the more you go, the more you’ll learn.
•	keep current with trends and programs; Fashion, Commercials, Movies, Pop-culture… etc.
•	bribe your agent with lavish gifts and expensive toys... (just kidding with this one).
Only if you follow all the above will you find success in the entertainment industry.
THE INDUSTRY & AAB TALENT
The majority of casting in Canada are in Toronto and Vancouver with limited opportunities in other major cities. The ability to obtain work is proportional to the demand for actors in any given area.
We want you to fully understand the commitment required before you invest your time and money in this industry and with our agency.
•	AAB Talent makes no promises of employment opportunities.
•	Availability commitment to AAB Talent is 24/7 (excluding book-off times).
•	Notice for auditions can vary and may even be on the same day.
•	There is a requirement of resumes and professional 8x10 headshots.
•	Registration with Web Provider www.castingworkbook.com is required (fees paid by talent).
•	An Agency Agreement must be executed by you (or your parent / guardian if under 18).
WHAT'S NEXT... REQUIREMENTS
Now that you understand and willing to dedicate your time and energy to our industry, please follow the steps below to be considered for AAB Talent Management Roster:
1)	Print and fill out the Talent Info Sheet
2)	Forward the Talent Info Sheet, your PHOTO and RESUME by email to our Head Office in Toronto.
3)	All Talent in our industry is required to sign up with Casting Workbook
